Hi Michael

Am glad to hear that it fixes it! To make it permanent you need to follow these steps on SecurePlatform...

Edit "$FWDIR/boot/modules/fwkern.conf" file using ?vi? or text editor to add line fwtcpstr_max_window=65536 and you should be happy.

Hi Mate!
Thanks a lot for your input!!! With the command fw ctl set ..... copying large files between both of my LAN's works fine! i have just 1 problem. We're using SecurePlatform, now, if i reboote the machine, then the change i made with those command is lost, and i become a return value minor than 65536.

By the way you maybe know where or how i can put it in the SecurePlatform so that it remains persistent?

thanks very much for your help!!
regards
michael

Hi Michael. Have has a similar issue and this fixed it (instructions for Windows enforcement module, refer sk30905 for instructions for the other OS's)...

-Run fw ctl get int fwtcpstr_max_window. Can't remember what the default is but it will be less than 65536 -Backup HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\FW1\parameters -If it doesn't already exist, add a new key called Globals -Under the Globals key add a DWORD parameter called fwtcpstr_max_window and set its value to 65536 -Reboot -Confirm that change has been made via fw ctl get int fwtcpstr_max_window.
The output should show 65536

Alternatively you can just enter the following command fw ctl set int fwtcpstr_max_window 65536 and that will change it immediately and you can retest. If it doesn't work, change the setting back, if it does work make it permanent.
