If anyone would like to do this, here is the instruction:
   
  Using the dbedit utility type:
modify services <service name> timeout 2147483647
update services <service name>

  If you are not familiar with dbedit, you can use gui-dbedit as well.
   
  That being said, changing a service to have an infinite timeout period is 
usually
  not recommended.  However, one might have to do it under special 
circumstances.
