Bob,
this assumes that you have created your users and groups and configured the
remote access community without OfficeMode......
1. Create a new network object and define the subnet that will be used for
OfficeMode (make sure to pick a subnet that is not used in your inernal
network). Also make sure that you have an object created for your internal
DNS server(s).
2. Edit your fw object and select the Remote Access --> OfficeMode tab.
Select "Offer OfficeMode to Group" and choose the group. Under the
OfficeMode Method section, choose "Manual (Using IP Pool)", and select the
network object created in step 1. Click the "Optional Parameters" button
and fill in values for DNS and domain suffix (and WINS, if needed). Click
OK and install the policy.
3. From SecureClient, ensure that OfficeMode is enabled by clicking on
(assuming R60 client) Options --> Edit Profile --> Advanced, and select
OfficeMode checkbox.
4. Once connected from the client, run ipconfig. You should see an
OfficeMode IP from the pool that you created in step 1 assigned to a virtual
adapter. Disconnect and run ipconfig. The virtual adapter should not
appear.
Best,
Neil Delacruz
