I got a good one here...
I'm supposed to change the hardware of my actual SPLAT NG(R55) box...
the thing is, that the new box only has one SATA-HD, and a couple of USB
ports (boot capable).
No extra IDE, No floppy, No nothing...
So, right now I'm booting from a USB floppy (because that's ONLY thing I
got), trying to make the FTP install trough the box's NIC; I get the
welcome screen, loading kernel.... loading ramdisk.... and that's it,
right after the ramdisk loading, the whole box dies.
Is it that SPLAT doesn't run under a SATA HD? Do I need to change
something on my bootdisk? So far, I haven't been able to find any thing
usefull under Checkpount's Knowledgebase.
Regards...
