<digging out old notes> If I remember right, I had to relicense after the
import. Or should I say, reapply the licenses. I didn't have to go to
Checkpoint's license center on the web and redo my license keys or anything.
I didn't run into any issues reapplying the license, either.

Run an upgrade_export on the windows host, build and configure your
SPLAT, and upgrade_import the results from the export.
A known issue with upgrade_export is that you need to use the most
current version for your build and hotfix level.

Can anyone give me some hints how to move SMARTCenter r55 HFA17 from a
Windows Platform to SPLAT.
The new SPLAT Smartcenter will be on a new server hardware
also.....this way I can still retain the original smartcenter in case
something goes terribly wrong.
Please understand that we are in a distributed environment.
Any help is greatly appreciated...
