Hello,
I have a Checkpoint NG FP3 with managemenet module installed on a Window 2000.
I am able to log on the management with the SmartDashBoard but not with the
smartview tracker.
In the windows log viewer, I have the following messages:
-FW1SVC: Fetching DT Security Policy from management failed
-The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( FireWall-1 ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information
is part of the event: ps fetch: Couldn't get masters from masters file: The
system cannot find the file specified.
In fact I can launch Smartview tracker and a pop up appears with the following
message: Server Initialization, please Wait. Then anything else. It freeze at
this point.
