Hi all,
Recently, I learned from my colleague that his firewall cluster in his
company (that he's currently manage) does not use Check Point's state
synchronization mode (configured via CPCONFIG), instead rely solely on
RainWall's H.A and load balance mode. AFAIK and from what I learned from
RainWall's manual, it is recommended (although no necessary) to enable
the state synchronization. How does the RainWall able to perform load
balance and H.A. without the presence of Check Point's state
synchronization? So, if it not necessary to use state synchronization
mode, am I still able to set up RainWall on my standalone firewall and
achieves H.A/load balance once secondary machine joins as a firewall
cluster? Thanks for those who enlighten me about this.
Regards,
Al
