I can only tell you what my experience with Nokia TAC. We manage over 500
Nokia
IP appliances and everytime a Nokia reboot/crashes for no reason, we run
either
ipsoinfo or cst and send the output to Nokia. Everytime, Nokia TACs come
back and tell us that the unsupported package causes the reboot/crash and want
us
to remove that packages. I am not talking about TAC level-1. I am
specifically
referred to Nokia TAC Product Line Support (PLS).
I, myself, like you, love to have the unsupported packages on the Nokia
because
I like to use tcsh and bash as well.

Also we have access+ service from nokia and they are supporting us all
the time without any problems regarding what is installed on the box.
