If you're asking whether you can set up a separate box for consolidating the
logs and generating reports without buying another license, yes. That box
becomes a Check Point host.
The recommended method is to keep the Reporter database separate from the
SmartCenter.

Do SmartReporter requires a separate license if I want to set up distribute
installation? I have one management server which manages a firewall cluster
and I would like to set up using a distribute configuration dedicating for
report generation and consolidation only. I have SmartReporter license and
I'm not sure whether I can set up using my license.
