Is it an upgrade of SmartCenter or firewall?
Which HFA does your R55 have (latest vesion is recommended) ?
Which process fails with a core dump?
I suggest you also get the stack from the core dump and post it here.

the license upgrade status is checked. When I run the license upgrade
