Hi all,
We evaluate the NGX SPLAT network based (PXE Boot) remote installation
option.
The setup procedure is described shortly as appendix in the SPLAT user
guide.
Basically the installation works, but it's far away from being an
unattended one. And that is what we try to achieve finally.
The network based installation process interrupts and ask the same questions
(needs
local screen and keyboard) as it does when booted from CD-ROM.
Is it possible to:
1) create a customized, pre-answered file stored at the installation
server?
(avoiding user input)
2) redirect the dialog to a serial port?
Thank you for your answer and your help.
Regards,
Chris
