Subject: [FW-1] Antwort: [WW Spam: medium] [FW-1] Integrity vs SecureClient
Integrity is not a SSL-VPN client. It is a central managed Personal
Firewall based on ZoneAlarm.
Before a remote client is able to connect to the intranet, it has to pass
the security checks provided
by the Integrity Policy Server.
These checks can be:
- is antispyware up to date
- is a virus scanner installed, up to date and running
- are there unknown task trying to connect to the network
- etc.
Integrity can also prohibit programs to run, while the client is connected
via vpn.
There is a flash demo on the Check Point webside, which gives you some
more information.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Thema: [WW Spam: medium] [FW-1] Integrity vs SecureClient
Dear list!
We're currently having a successfull deployment of a number of
SecureClient clients. Now our VAR has suggested that we look into the
new Integrity client. As far as I've understood the Integrity client is
a SSL vpn client with a ZoneAlarm type of firewall.
What are your experiences with upgrading from SecureClient? Can the rule
base of this firewall client be configured in the samme manner as
SecureClient today?
Is it possible to autoupgrade from SecureClient?
Is the Integrity client worth the extra money?
Lars
