hi,
reinstalling ipso will overwrite some of the data
of the harddrive - but in fact most sectors will still have the old data on it.
so it's not easy but if you play a little bit
with this harddisk you will be able to recontruct
some of the data that was on the box.
if you "whipe" the disk all sectors are
overwritten several times and it's impossible to
even read the data from the sectors ...
so that's the difference ...

have the need to erase the contents
of all hard disks on our firewall boxes in case
we take them out of production.
We use nokia platforms running IPSO.
Does anybody have an idea how this can be done?
