I know it works. We have been running our management server in ESX for about
year, never an issue. It makes upgrades on the management server a million
times easier. I know SPLAT and Linux, and I'm sure Windows as a module work
in VMWare as I've also done this in a dev/test environment as well with no
issues. We currently have a dev and production IP350, but we never use any
of it's features. A SPLAT or Linux box would suit us just fine, but I don't
want to lose Checkpoint's support.
