Hi Group,
I get this error when I install HFA-03 on top of my SPLAT Provider-1 NGx R60
HFA-02.
My P-1 is Manager+Container on the same box. I followed the instructions as
follows:
INSTALLATION PER PLATFORM
SecurePlatform Installation
---------------------------
Install the packages in the following order:
1. SPLAT - this is the OS package.
2. fw1
3. ng_bc
4. mds
Step 1 through 3 works fine. I get error in step 4:
[Expert@dca2-NGx-P1]# ls
SU dependencies.C mds_HOTFIX_R60_03_591603003_1 mds_R60_HFA_03.splat.tgz
pkginfo
[Expert@dca2-NGx-P1]# ./mds_HOTFIX_R60_03_591603003_1

In order for this package to be installed, Provider-1 NGX R60 needs to be
installed first.
Please refer to the release notes for more information about installation
dependencies.
The package was checked and found not suitable for installation !
Package check failed for mds.
Installation aborted.

I rebooted the box and tried again. Same issue. Any ideas? TIA
