We tried this at one of the Secure Plat boxes... it worked

  1. Log into 'Expert Mode' into the SPLAT box.
  2. Get the PID nos. of the following processes cp_http_server and cpwmd
and kill these daemons

We have a checkpoint cluster of 2 gateways and a management server

l tried to log into the web interface (to change a backup parameter)
and was denied with a "Logout: Already connected" message. l
restarted the FW processes (cpstop/cpstart) and even rebooted the
management server to no effect. The system still thinks l'm already
connected.

With the Nokia appliances you could go into the temp dir and delete
the lock file. Is there a similar file with R55?

Thanks in advance,

Alan
