some customers run R55P on ipso 4.1
that runs fine.
to get support on that you have to open a tac-case and ask for
limited availability of this combination.
I have no idea of FP3 and ipso 4.1 - but just contact nokia-support
and ask them.
for all others: if someone asks for FP3-support on ipso 4.1 this is
not an idiot-question, he might have good reasons to do that! you
_can_ tell him that it would be better to upgrade to NG X but maybe
he has a large P-1 setup and an upgrade to NG-X is not just a small
step. and new nokia-hardware requires new ipso versions. and now he
has a problem when he wants to add a new IP560 to his existing P-1
that is on FP3.

1- On page 19 of IPSO 4.1 build 013 release note, it specifically

documentation that specifically
states that it supports NGx R61.
2- On page 24 of IPSO 4.1 build 016 release note, it specifically
states that this
ipso build supports NGx R60. Again, I do not see anywhere in the
documentation
that specifically states that it supports NGx R61.
3- On page 28 of the IPSO 4.1 build 019 release note, it
specifically states that it
supports both NGx R60 and NGx R61
From what I am reading in the release notes, it seems to me that
both IPSO
build 013 and IPSO 4.1 build 016 are NOT certified to run
Checkpoint NGx R61, and
that only IPSO 4.1 build 019 is certified to run NGx R61.
Therefore, from reading the Nokia release notes, the combination
of IPSO 4.1
build 016 with Checkpoint NGx R61 is NOT a support configuration.
Is that the correct interpretation? Thanks
