hey all,
we're considering taking the plunge from solaris to splat here and i
have just a quick question for those of ye who are running splat on dell
poweredge's ... does anyone have a configuration where they have a 2950
and two quad cards? from the following site,
http://www.checkpoint.com/products/supported_platforms/recommended/ngx/i
ndex.html, i see that they recommend dual port cards in the section for
the 2950, but they also state on the main page that certain other cards
can be used. i just wanted to confirm or have it confirmed, that if i
were to install 2 x intel pro/1000 MT quad cards in a 2950, i wouldn't
be running with an unsupported configuration?
