I have a questions that i would like opinon or suggestion from you guys. I
have a pair of IP390 Nokia Checkpoint Firewall running on clustering mode.
I would like opinion how to acheive fully redundent connection.
Below are my own network design
Core Switch (1)------------------------------------------ IP 390
(FW1) ---------------------- Cisco Switch(1)--------------- WAN Router (1)

Switch(HA)

Switch(2)-----------------------------------------
IP390(FW2)-------------------------- Cisco
Switch(2)-------------- WAN Router (2)
Scenario
------------
1. Assume my Cisco Switch (HA) down ? What will happen ? Will my Fw down or
will there be a conflict ? or anyone implement using cross over cable
between the 2 firewall?
2. if one of my cisco switch is down ? what will happen? can i acheive
redudnt ?
or u guys have a proper network design which the main purpose is to acheive
to total redundant n HA features
