Thanks for the help from quite a lot of people from the list.
We are using NGX R61. I generated the key by using the IP address of the
management server as suggested and it was installed to management server
without problems.
By the way - how does the license work? For example I have 100 users. Could I
spread the users to 2 VPN gateways (I think one license is for one gateway)?

checkpoint recommends to use the IP of the smartcenter, because if you decide
to change the main ip of your gateway you'll still be able to use the same
licence.
