I really hate forums compared to mailing list. It takes so much more time to go
through it than going though a mailing list.
I therefore hope that if CP decides to close down the FW-1 mailing list that
many of you join the fw1-gurus list.

The fw1-gurus list also recently considered shutting down, but phoneboy
asked the list first before shutting down the list. Apparently there was a
large outcry from the list users and he decided to keep the list. It's too
bad Check Point couldn't extend use the same courtesy and give us the option
of keeping the fw1 email list. I personally have no desire to manually go
check several forum web pages every day to see if there's anything of
interest to me. A RSS feed interface to the forums would be a nice addition
to the forums, and make them almost as useable as the email list for me.
In the meantime, there's always the fw1-gurus email list. See here for info
