Since HP won't support this OS and I don't like to put many things on a
firewall what I do place an IP camera to monitor LEDs. Camera can be either in
or out of band. Other than that we generally try to keep the configuration
simple so that when there is a hw failure we just swap it out and rebuild.
SPLAT install only takes about 15 min so we just put a SIC and push the policy
and ready to go. I guess you can cluster it if it's mission critical.

Late last year I installed SPLAT R62 on a ML370 G5. I recall that I had to
have R61 Take 56 or R62 disc to recognize the P400 RAID. Hasn't had any
problem but mine is acting as a simple satellite gateway. Hope this helps.
