Dear All,
We are using Check Point firewall gateway NGX R62 alongwith its VPN module
on Windows 2003 Enterprise server platform, there are about 950+ users.
Firewall server runs perfectly alright but as soon as i make some changes
or create object etc in the firewall rule base using its dashboard its
system service named "fw.sys" crashes immediately with memory dump error.
After this memory dump error apparently firewall is working as normal but
some how its not responding from outside world and as a result neither our
firewall is pinging from localnet (i.e. DMZ, Internal lan) nor firewall
related
services such SMTP smarthost, VPN etc. are working.
Event viewer is showing following error messages:
