Hi,
I just ran out of disk space on my firewall. I noticed the offending file was a MySQL database file ...

-rw-r----- 1 544 18 15579742208 Apr 11 14:59 ibdata1

As I can't find any documentation on why and when checkpoint use MySQL - I can only presume that logs are stored there.

Does anyone know anything about this? how can the data be purged? Can the MySQL database be accessed (is there a password)? Do I just have to grin and buy more disk?

Firewall version: R61
