A while ago I had problems with SR R60 and other kinds of traffic, not
particularly the one you mentioned, but the issues also dissapeared
downgrading to an R56 version.

This was a customer of mine that has a bunch of external users that get
connected via SR everyday and after upgrading those to an R60 o superior
verion of it, they where no longer able to access shared folders in the
local network, nor access an SSL web page that required going through a
proxy.

I had to open a case with Check Point and it took them easily 2 months to
figure out what was going on and end up requesting the development team to
provide us with a customized release of SR that got the issues solved.

We've just recently started working with Microsoft's SMS and we have not
been able to connect using the SMS Administrator Console. During the
troubleshooting process, we figured out that if Securemote R60 (or higher)
is installed, remote MMC Snap-in connections stop working. We did a clean
install of Windows XP SP2 and SMS Administrator Console works correctly as
does SQL Enterprise Administrator. If we install Securemote R60+, both
consoles stop working. We tried setting up sites on it, but it made no
difference. As soon as the software gets installed, the system will no
longer communicate properly with the remote systems. As a temporary
(hopefully) fix, we have downgraded certain clients to R56 HFA03 which
allows the .msc's to work. The remote servers are running Windows 2003
Server and the administration systems are running Windows XP SP2.
Firewalls (which shouldn't have an impact on this) are on R62. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

Jerry
