Hello:

I have a Dell PowerEdge 1950 running SPLAT R62. There is a cron
job to sync the time via "ntpdate" every night.

Every time this job runs it reports an adjustment of 5 seconds or
more - which implies the timekeeping of this system is really not
very good.

Is this normal for SPLAT? Or do I have a hardware problem?

Simon Ashford.
