Hi, I have compiled both pfil2.1.11 and ipfilter 4.1.14 with USE_INET6 defined. IPv4 filtering works great. But when i try to plumb pfil onto any IPv6 interface the traffic is instantly blocked, and the ping returns "ICMPv6 Address Unreachable from gateway" When i tried the following command, root@pp45buce01# ndd /dev/pfil pfil_inet4 in function flags out function flags root@pp45buce01# ndd /dev/pfil pfil_inet6 in function flags out function flags root@pp45buce01# the functions are empty. When i ping from one system to another IPv6 interface, after installing ipfilter 4.1.14, ipfstat shows 1. No of IPv6 packets keeps on increasing 2. No of blocked packets keeps on increasing 3. No of IPF Ticks keep increasing I am using a 64 bit Sparc machine with solaris running on it. If anybody has found a solution of faced the same problem, kindly help me out. - Manik |
