Hello,When trying to fork the process by get_kb_item(), I found that the child processes get run sequentially over the time, i.e. the second one starts only after the first is over.
Is there a way in nasl to run forked processes truly in parallel?
The setup is:
This is Nessus 2.2.9 for Linux 2.4.20-8
compiled with gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)
Current setup :
nasl : 2.2.9
libnessus : 2.2.9
SSL support : enabled
SSL is used for client / server communication
Running as euid : 0
and there is no line "Thread manager" that I've seen in other posts.
May be, this is an indicator of the issue and how to resolve it then?
Thanks for any help.
Dmitri
