I have a problem when I try to connect to the nessusd (3.0.5 ) server locally. ( using the NessusClient or from command line )

First, make sure you're using an address that nessusd is listening on and that is not otherwise blocked.

Second, make sure that you've configured the client to use TLS (or whatever nessusd uses) and that you're using a client certificate if that's what the Nessus server expects.

nessusd.messages shows the succesfull connection from the windows station but no info/messages regarding the local connection.

If nessusd.messages doesn't show anything, that suggests the first issue above. What happens if you try to connect to the nessusd port using telnet?
