How do I get changes to a plugin to show up immediately?

I created a copy of an existing plugin (12107 mcafee check) and made
some modifications to the solution information, as well as changed the
ID to 99981, which is not being used. The first change I made seemed to
load when I killed and reloaded the nessusd daemon. I have since made
new modifications to the solution verbiage and they do not show up on
the plugin information page when the vulnerability is detected, even
after killing the daemon and restarting. Is there some trick to make the
changes show up? I also tried the nessus-update-check. Thanks for any
insight.
