icsalabs provides certifications of firewall and security applications/appliances. They are legit, and so might be the question.

The answer would be no, the process of certification is not light nor not cheap, I doubt that iptables has been nor will be put up for certification, though applicanes that relay upon iptables as the core foundation might well be under process or already have obtained. Though I can not point to any offhand.
