Thanks again, Sebastian! It
took a little work, but I finally figured out that my deliveryMode is getting
sent to my ldap server from my Emerald database server. Qmail is picking
it up from there, and then the error is logged. I’ll just have to tell
the database server to quit trying to set deliveryMode :p
It’s going to be extremely
interesting to see how well this server handles 14k accounts! Now all I’ve
got to figure out is why courier-IMAP’s getquota request returns nothing.

You can only use the values listed
in
http://www.qmail-ldap.org/wiki/LDAP_MODE
in the deliveryMode attribute.
Somewhere you entered
"normal" as delevery mode. This is ignored and logged.
