I am about to build my qmail-ldap server under CentOS version 4.4. What version of GCC would you guys recommend so as to avoid any compilation error, not just with qmail-ldap, but also with other applications like openldap, berkeleyDB, openssl etc etc. I am only half an hour old with CentOS. I have previously used RH9. I would really appreciate your suggestion and comments.
