I have qmail-ldap and can send to hotmail. You should veiry that you aren't on
any bad guy lists and then go to hotmail and review thei policies for
postmasters. Lastly, contact hotmail directly. All will eventually get back to
you. Fyi, you will be dealing with sys admins who like procedures, so follow
the procedures.

Subject: Sending to Hotmail

Hello list,

Has anybody encountered problems sending email to hotmail.com accounts
using qmail-ldap?

If I send to Hotmail.com accounts I get a "250 ... Queued mail for
delivery" but the mail never shows up in the Hotmail account!

Can't imagine what the problem could be. It seems that Hotmail isn't
queueing the mail even though it claims to be, but i'm not even
receiving a bounce message. The sent message doesn't show up
anywhere in Hotmail - not even in the Junk mail folder, it just seems
to get silently dropped. I've waited over a week after sending a
test message and still never got a bounce and the message was never
delivered...

No excuse for Hotmail to claim the message has been queued then not
delivering it, but fixing my installation is a lot easier than fixing
Microsoft ;)

If any of you have a Hotmail account, would you mind trying to send an
e-mail to your Hotmail id using qmail-ldap to send and see if it
shows up?

Help would be appreciated!!
