Where I would look ...
1) Is the address spelled correctly?
2) QMAIL-SMPTD logfiles, increasing verbosity
(http://www.qmail-ldap.org/wiki/LOGLEVEL )
3) LDAP Server logfiles (dito)

As a workaround you could add the address to the file
/var/qmail/control/goodmailaddr
