Yes. It's too much.
qmail development is performed only by djb, and none of us can do "non-third
part patches", because we are not djb and none of our patches can be included
in "official" qmail release without djb approval.
Are you sad because of qmail behavior and you want your ideas to be included
in qmail code? Mail djb, not this list (and good luck, eheheh :).
Do you want patches for qmail? They are there, and now everyone in this list
is informed about the problem and the possible solution.
Are you flaming about qmail and djb decisions? Sorry, this is not the right
place, and now I think you've exposed your opinion clearly.
Just give up, you can obtain nothing from here more than the "third-part patch",
so, what's the problem now?
If you mail djb and get a positive answer, let us know where we can download
qmail-1.04.tar.gz.
