Hello: We are under attack with SMTP swamping. One person was kind enough to send me a direct email suggesting that I change the following setting in "/etc/var/control": concurrencyremote = 5 concurrencylocal = 250 concurrencyincoming = 300 After changing these setting, I do not see any change. We have many, many experts on this list, therefore, I ask; what are the best settings to reduce the effect of SMTP swamping? Can we change the above setting so the incoming mail is slowed and our clients outgoing mail keeps being sent? Thanks. Kirt |
