Indeed I had clobbered qmail in the way Matt originally suggested. I
just didn't understand the ramifications. my qmail-inject was 12 bytes.
Once replaced, all is well.
Thanks to all of you for educating me on some basics. I appreciate it. John Andy Bradford wrote: Thus said John Knight on Fri, 16 Feb 2007 20:22:10 MST:Not so fast apparently.... It worked a couple of times and now it doesn't. I don't know why. What do I need to do to ensure qmail-inject is in a pristine state? Does it write to disk during it's functioning? The more relevant question you might ask yourself is what do you need to do to get qmail to a pristine state? As Matt has indicated, it looks like you've screwed up qmail-inject. How big (in bytes) is /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject on this system? Andy |
