Hi,

I can't get forwarding in .qmail to work. Neither local->local nor remote->local work. I want all mail forwarded to a remote machine.

I put &myname@remoteserver.net in /home/myname/Maildir/.qmail
but it doesn't forward to remoteserver.net. Instead mail is delivered locally.

Outgoing works. And outgoing Aliasing works. So, if I put in /var/qmail/alias/ a file named .qmail-testname with content &myname@remoteserver.net then emails to testname@localqmailserver.com are forwarded to remoteserver.net. Also local mails #echo to: test | qmail-inject are sent to myname@remoteserver.net

remoteserver.net is not in my domain. The sticky bit is not set on /home/myname or /home/myname/Maildir or /home/myname/Maildir/.qmail Also, /home/myname/Maildir and /home/myname/Maildir/.qmail are drwx------. (Are these right?)

Looked for clobbered /usr/sbin/files and didn't see anything obvious.

Any ideas?

Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

John
