Searching is turning up NADA so far. Has anyone else been able to
compile DJB software on Solaris 10?
Yes.
I just tried compiling ucspi-tcp-0.88 on SunOS 5.10 and didn't have a problem.
I'm using Sun's GCC pkgs SUNW0gccfss and SUNW0scgfss.
There's a specific mailing list for daemontools at log@list.cr.yp.to.
I am aware, but since nothing from DJB is compiling I didn't want to
cross post. I've been chided for that before.
I installed the tools from sunfreeware.com as these are the same tools
I've used on all previous installs and I get the following error,
building qmail this time.
./compile auto-str.c
auto-str.c:9: warning: conflicting types for built-in function 'puts'
auto-str.c: In function `main':
auto-str.c:17: warning: return type of 'main' is not `int'
./load auto-str substdio.a error.a str.a
ld: fatal: file values-Xa.o: open failed: No such file or directory
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to auto-str
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `auto-str'
Gotta be a Sun package not installed. I'll go review what the tech
installed when he did the OS.

Three years now I've asked Google why they don't have a
logo change for Memorial Day. Why do they choose to do logos
for other non-international holidays, but nothing for
Veterans?
Maybe they forgot who made that choice possible.
