They would be unhappy. But the checks done by helo checks don't discard mail from properly configured smtp servers. All other are rejected. And aparently majority of spam bots don't send mail(spam) complient to RFC xxxx standard(the same as the greylisting works). That's sufficient for me, since my customers accept that answer, and ask me to whitelist the domain if it's important. However, this don't happen that often... i'd say, once in 6 month time...that's the period i moved from qmail. User had contacted them via his(users) alternate mail account from @yahoo. However, that happened(was reported) only once. If I understand, reading this all the point why qmail exists today is because by default there's a 0 % chance possibility it will reject valid mail ?
