I had a customer that was complaining about some of his users not being able to relay outgoing mail when they're on wireless networks at hotels, due to port 25 being blocked. I don't currently use any SMTP auth (just vpopmail POP before SMTP auth), so I just ran another instance of tcpserver-smtpd on another port, complete with the same DNSBLs and used the same tcp.smtp.cdb file. I do not use daemontools. It tested fine, but now I'm getting complaints of multiple duplicates of inbound messages on that server. Not sure they're related, but if there's any insight, I'd appreciate it. James Smallacombe PlantageNet, Inc.
