Hello all,
We've been looking at using DKIM to sign a fairly large volume of outbound
mailing list messages. All of our lists use verh to tack on a trailer
with unsub info, so we need to sign in qmail-remote.
There is a patch for qmail-remote floating around out there
(http://test.frob.com.au/qmail/patches/qmail-1.03-remote-verh-dk-0.4.patch),
but it's for DK and not DKIM. Since DKIM is now looking to be the
standard rather than DK (gmail and others are signing with it now), I'm
wondering what folks are doing to get DKIM and qmail playing nice.
Since we do header and body substitution, we do need to sign in
qmail-remote.
From what I can see, libdk (http://domainkeys.sf.net/) is *only* for DK
and judging by the lack of updates on that Yahoo-sponsored project, we
won't see DKIM support in that library anytime soon, if ever.
The dkim-milter project (http://dkim-milter.sf.net/) is actively being
worked on, but it appears one can't just drop this library in place of
libdk.
So what are qmail users using?
There's no hints about qmail on the DKIM site (http://dkim.org/).
Any pointers are appreciated.
Thanks,
Charles
