I doubt if rdns is an issue on the issue raised, below is a typical real
e.g (E1) with rdns & A configured.
E1.
Connected_to_203.199.83.4_but_connection_died._(#4.4.2)/
nslookup 203.199.83.4
Non-authoritative answer:
4.83.199.203.in-addr.arpa name = mail2.rediffmail.com.
This problem is not general to qmail mta only. the issue here lies with
remote MTA in terms of concurrency limit , memory issue's and bandwidht to
remote host. But no biggie it will just retry to delivery the mail later
and you will see accepted !
different case's of connection_died._(#4.4.2)/ was my server blacklisted
by remote host & someone had implemented tarpitting but unfortunaltly I
was sending bulks of legit mails to his site. I re-routed the mails via
one of my servers n they got delivered.
I have a test-bed running without rdns & i deliver mails to it without any
of (#4.4.2), so lets put the issue of rdns out on the subject matter.
Best Wishes
