ok, we need a little more information from you then.
Please post the full, unedited output of qmail-showctl.
Also, when your queue starts growing, when you notice a problem
starting, run 'qmail-qstat' and post the output for us.
Also, when it's happening, grab us a sample of the qmail-send logs while
it's happening making especially sure to grab the status: lines, they
are the part we're after.
then, post that all to the list so we can see it. I have a feeling I
already know what the problem is, but need a little more information
before I can be sure :)
