ok, we need a little more information from you then.
Please post the full, unedited output of qmail-showctl.
Also, when your queue starts growing, when you notice a problem starting,
run 'qmail-qstat' and post the output for us.
Also, when it's happening, grab us a sample of the qmail-send logs while
it's happening making especially sure to grab the status: lines, they are
the part we're after.
then, post that all to the list so we can see it. I have a feeling I
already know what the problem is, but need a little more information before
I can be sure :)

Hi Jeremy,
the problem seems to be some kind of solved...
There was no growing queue while the weekend and the official holiday on
Monday.
We were not the only ISP who had these kind of problems because of an
additional amount of 100% of SMTP-connects.
The output of my qmail-showctl has more than 3000 lines. I am not allowed to
provide this content to you. I know that this limits your possibilities to
help.
Thanx a lot for your help,
Matthias
