I think that the problem ist solved know. But I will try to use the ext-todo
patch or big-ext-todo patch.

big-ext-todo is needed if you have really high inject rates and your filesystem does not like having thousands of files in a directory.


yes, but if you apply either, you will make your queue unusable.  You
will want to move your existing queue to the side, fire up a qmail-send
on it, and start with the big-ext-todo patch on a fresh queue.

? He just has to make sure there is no mail still in preprocess state. ?

That is even with the big-ext-todo patch (not sure that he needs big-ext-todo)
