For different reasons, Yes: avoid SPF entirely. There were 14 reasons
that I collected originally, and a couple more discovered since.
But no one (significant) blocks email based on SPF, so there is no
anti-spam benefit whatsover to using SPF. If they do block on SPF
someday, SPF (through DNS spoofing) will block legitimate email. SPF
only benefits spammers.
Don't put in SPF records. Don't use SPF records.
