Hi,

I've been away from the list (and djbdns) for a while.
I'm going to install a DNS server.

My question is: aren't the root servers IPs defined in djbdns out- of.dat ?

If so, where are they defined so they can be changed and where can i get a list of the actual root servers IPs ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hm. I thought it would be mentioned in the wikipedia-article about the root-servers - but it wasn't.
You can use the patch from FreeBSD's djbdns-port here:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/dns/djbdns/files/
Or use the hints-file from a recent BIND-distribution.

cheers,
Rainer
