You don't even  have to do that.  So its more trivial  than you thought.
Simply edit conf-cc and add to the existing command:

 -include /usr/include/errno.h

before compiling. I  suppose you could make  a patch out of  it, but the
change  is so  trivial  it isn't  even worth  arguing  over. Again,  the
problem only seems to exist on Linux.
